The Great Arctic- Chapter 3

Hi jammers! I have returned with another episode of The Great Arctic. Remember = if you want in the story, just comment! Tell me your animal and animal name and you will be added in!

The Great Arctic

             Little headed to the light. It shined surprisingly bright for such a small crack. When she touched the crack, it suddenly collapsed. Instinctively,  she wandered into the hole. Inside was a long, sparkling tunnel. The tunnel seamed to go on forever, slowly, it became steeper and steeper. Then the bright light shown again. 

              When Little exited the tunnel, the light was blinding. But she felt grass. Soft, cool grass. She stepped forward and felt stone. Smooth, cold stone. When her eyes adjusted, she saw a magnificent castle in front of her. A cascading waterfall's river was overcome by a small arching bridge to reach the castle's front door. 

             "You saw the light, I see." Mira appeared from the sun. She glittered like gold amazingly. Little bowed to her Maker, but Mira just nodded and told her to rise. 

              "What is this place? Where am I?"  Little stood in amazement as she saw the water suddenly fall of the edge of a giant cliff into a large cloud below. 

              "I told you I would give you a gift, correct?" Mira looked puzzled for a second. 

             "Yes, you did, its just I don't know what it is..." 

              Mira pointed at the castle. "You do now...." Little stood in amazement.

            "Is this for the pack? This is incredible!" Little wanted to move forward, but she felt frozen. 

           Mira stood where she was for a second, thinking hard. "Wasn't there something else...? Oh Yes! There is one, tiny little gift." Little couldn't see anything else. Then she couldn't see anything at all. Green smoke rose from around her paws to the top of her head. A Think smoke swirl appeared and Little watched as her paws underneath her were disappearing. Then her paws reappeared. But they weren't hers... Her tail, started to become very thick and layered. Her back became smaller and her back legs shortened. Hair started to become layered and thick on her chest.  She felt her neck stretch tall, and her head became quite large. Soon the green smoke and swirl disappeared. She felt tall, Strong, and Powerful. Mira nodded with pleasure. 

         "Little, You are now an Arctic Wolf....."

The Great Arctic-Chapter 2

Hi guys! Its me, LightningStar60, and I'm back with my story- The Great Arctic. Hope you have been enjoying it so far! Comment if you want added into the story! Enjoy!

 

The Great Arctic

 

 

          Little didn't feel any different. Fauna and the rest of StormPack were slowly waking, and each going on like nothing was different. Fauna grabbed her sword that was hanging on its peg, and tossed Little her bow.

               "You kept kicking last night. Are you OK?" Fauna was fastening her buckle on her sword sling.

               "Just had some interesting dreams,  that's all." Little didn't want to say anything about her visit with Mira.

                "What about? Should I be worried?"

                "No! No no. I'm fine. Just dreamt about being tortured in the Big Cat Castle dungeon that's all." Fauna sighed and headed outside, where her and her Hunters were already meeting up. Little soon padded out of the Small House as well, seeing her "Scouts", or warriors, band together to go on the morning patrol.

                 Nothing much happened during the patrol. Sure, there was a rouge wolf trying to create a den on territory, but they obeyed and quielty moved off.

                 There are two types of territory. Public And Private. Public is where all animals can establish territory and MUST get along, say, Jamaa Township or Mt. Shiveer. But the Private is the separate den sites. Those are a big matter.

                 When both patrols returned, it was around lunchtime. The Hunters brought back nearlly nothing, but they made do and ate what they had. Little kept looking to the sun, expecting the gift everytime she looked.

                 "Every time you look up to the sun, you will blind yourself!" A Scout exclaimed. "Why do you keep doing that?  Expecting Mira to come to Jamaa?" Little glared at the Scout and he just nodded and trotted off.

                 Suddenly Little had this odd feeling to go near a crack in the side of the Small House. Everyone else seamed to naturally go inside, but it seamed to all work out. When Little reached the crack, she saw a bright light coming from the other side......

              

              

Rare Monday!!

Animal Jam Story?!

Hi guys LightningStar60 here! I have this idea for a story/book on Animal Jam! The Great Arctic has been going through my mind a lot and I was wondering if you guys are interested in it:

 

The Great Arctic

 

 

                Little and Fauna watched from their den a horrible sight. The "King", the one and only lion in all of Jamaa, has defeated the Rebel Army. The Big Cats will once again rule the island of Jamaa.

               "What is going to happen to us? Our pack is dwindling and with King on the throne, the balance of all the animals will fall apart!" Fauna whimpered and looked at the ground. "Little, I think we should disband StormPack..."

              Little flicked her ears and shook her head. "No. Why should we?

              "Our Pack is dying! We are not going to survive the Big Cat Revolution!" Little turned at the sight and headed into the Small House they called home. Outside were a few wolves, some fought in the War, others dying of hunger. She lay down on her scrappy bed, cold and hungry. Fauna joined her, depressed as well.

             "We will think of something later." Little sighed.

               "How much later? When Jamaa doesn't exsist?" Fauna yawned and layed her head down. "I just hope we aren't going to be too soon...." She drifted off but Little stayed awake. Thoughts filled her head of how times were extremely tough and even her, the "smart" one, couldn't think of an answer. When she finally did fall asleep, she dreamed of being tortured in the dungeon of the Big Cat Castle.

                Then the dream shifted to a beautiful forest, full of happy, well fed animals. In the center, were six thrones surrounding a giant bird perch. "Mira!" Little called out, "Why have you brought me here! She was answered by a large crane, swooping down onto the perch.

               "Do not be alarmed, my dear wolf. For I am Mira, creator of everything in Jamaa."

               "Yes, Majesty, I know who you are, but why am I here?" She turned her head to look at a break in the ground. Through the crack, there was Jamaa, lying in the dark of night.

              "I have noticed that my experimental lion has, as you say, taken over".

              Little nodded."Yes, Mira, King has. Wolves are the lowest ranking in the Animal Balance, and all the other animals are his slaves. My sister is afraid that we should disband our small dying pack so that we can survive in larger Clans."

            Mira looked back at Little, sighing, she said, "Yes, I know. And I want to help regain the balance. Tomorrow at High Sun, I will give you something you will never want to return....." Mira started to fade. Fauna's side started to show, and light was filtering through the old rotting windows into the Small House. Reality was returning with the day, and Little knew it would be the biggest day in StormPack history.....

 

That is the beginning of my story. Hope you liked it! I will be adding onto it soon!
